Dear Business and Community Leaders: I am very pleased to serve as this year's honorary chairman of Festival Latino Americano. This outstanding community event is one that we, at The Borgata have supported since our arrival in Atlantic City. We do so year after year because we take great pride in celebrating diversity and value the great work of the Hispanic Alliance in our community. I ask you to join me in supporting the rich Hispanic cultural heritage that's right here in our community. This event has become one of New Jersey's outstanding cultural events, bringing together residents and visitors alike from throughout the region for a festive weekend. A winner of the Governor's Multi-Cultural Award on Tourism, Festival Latino Americano is typically held in September at the Shore Mall in Egg Harbor Township. Last year's festival attracted over 20,000 weekend attendees. The Hispanic Alliance of Atlantic County is a 501c-(3) non-profit organization. Its mission is to serve as an advocate and a resource for the betterment of our community through cultural and educational programs. Proceeds from the Festival benefit programs such as the Luis A. Molina Scholarship fund and the annual Latino Leadership Youth Summit. Companies with a proud and long-standing appreciation for diversity such as, Borgata, Atlantic City Electric, Bally's Atlantic City, The Press of Atlantic City, AtlantiCare, Comcast, Coors, Kramer Beverage, Telemundo, Harrah's, Resorts, Showboat, Shore Memorial, Bacharach Hospital, SJ Family Medical Centers, South Jersey Gas, First Union, Trump Marina, Tropicana, NJ Transit and many other, have participated in this great community event. Take advantage of this great opportunity to get your message out to the Hispanic community. Please confirm your organization's sponsorship level and submit your journal insert ad by August 2009.
